Dartcraft, I have seen it being given various titles such as "the most OP mod of our time". However are these titles deserving of the mod, or are people just following the crowd of what 1 person thinks?
Well let's explore the mod further.

Dartcraft is a mod which is usable with a vast amount of mods from thaumcraft, industrial craft and many more. It adds a vast range of items which can be combined with these mods such as applying a thaumcraft mixed crystal cluster to add repair to your tool.

So what is it that makes people think it's so OP?

Well I can see where some people are coming from for SOME aspects of the mod such as the ease of being able to create spawners or time torches, perhaps it's the confusing solar panels that generate more power in the rain than in sun, or perhaps the ability to shear the leather right off a living cow.

Who knows overall. However Alot of the mod can be changed or disabled within configs if you find it to be too powerful or needs disabled, so what's the problem then?

I will honestly say that for a while I was also one of the people who would have complained about how easy dartcraft SEEMED when seeing others playing it, and making it sound as if a few items then you hold world odmination in your hands. However this was before I had ever got too in depth to the mod so I decided to give it a go so started a world and used dartcraft mainly.

I will say this did change my view a bit as to get the items isn't that much easier. Admitedly some aspects were still very powerful and simple to get, but the general overall view of the mod was quite balanced.
I know I will likely have people saying different but this is simply my own opinion of the mod from having actually taken time to sit down and play with it.

For an example let's look at the force solar panels. They are a bit more powerful than IC2 solar panels with very similar recipes but are confusing on how they generate at both night and more when it rains, they can also be throttled with liquid force to increase their output.

Personally I feel that seems a bit strong (as well as confusing) but it's small things like this that make people judge the entire mod as OP.

So in summary

1- some changes need made to balance certain items but nothing
2- a rather fun mod if you give it a chance
3- about 6 mods in 1

how fun is it
4/5
defenitely adds some fun items and blocks to the game (bonus points for baby creepers). A good long term mod

balance
3/5
I'm abit on the fence on the balance but given the ability to alter within configs help balance slightly.

overall score
3.5/5
A nice mod with alot of interesting concepts of its own. Updates quite frequently so always new stuff being added. Keep up the good work
